When I sat down to come ahead with a number of Harry Muck about Characters, I quickly realized that trying to paroxysm all of the characters onto one page would make the page waaay to big, so I have decided to break it down into a series of pages. This is the first one, and information technology focuses on the main characters in Harry Potter around, including a persona description for each of the characters.

But what exactly qualifies a character to be a "Ravage Potter main type"? Some mass might think that there are only three main characters: Harry, Ron, & Hermione. Others might say that any character that appears in all vii books should count as a main quality. There are so many slipway that this could comprise disordered down, and I want to living this page to a reasonable length, so I will say that, for my purposes and for the sake of organization, I will choke with the following : Harass, Ron, and Hermione are the of import characters in Harry Tinker. Characters who appear all told seven books, and who get a good sum of "connected screen" sentence (meaning they are featured for a adept portion of the action of the novels), will represent counted as one of the "supporting independent" characters. Unluckily for Professor McGonagall, although she is a fan favorite and she does play a pivotal role, she does not enjoy a lot of connected-screen time, so she and other similar characters testament be considered "support characters" and they will represent covered in one of the follow-up posts (but I promise I will get to her—she's one of my favorites)! The following list is pretty much Plunderer-Self-governing (on that point might be some small, minor spoilers), so that anyone who hasn't read complete the books operating theater seen the movies yet won't be surprised by any of the revelations that fall later.

Harry Ceramist

Chivy is a young male child World Health Organization is the son of two wizards, although he is not aware of that. Helium believes that he is simply an orphaned who has been raised by his horrible aunt and uncle. On his eleventh birthday, however, Ravage gets the shock of his life when Hagrid (a huge, gruff wizard) tells him World Health Organization he actually is. It turns retired that Ravage's parents were murdered past the nigh powerful wizard in the world (Voldemort), and that Voldemort himself was killed when he tried to kill Harry as a young infant. Harry is world-famous among the wizarding world (and he's also rich, away the way)! He is known as "the boy who survived." As with other untested wizards, Harry receives a letter on his eleventh birthday, informing him that he has been summoned to the Hogwarts School of Witchery and Wizardry to begin his training as a wizard. Harry rapidly meets and makes friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Farmer, two unusual first-year students, and they will turn out to be his best friends for the repose of the serial publication. Harry goes along to have many an adventures, and he is faced with the fight of his life when it turns out that The Dark Lord (Voldemort) might not be pulseless after all!

Hermione Granger

Hermione comes from a Muggle family, meaning that neither of her parents are wizards. For this reason, much of the snootier wizard families look down on her and her kind, calling them "mudbloods", which is a news that carries the same weight as some sincere-worldly concern racist epithets. When we get together her, she is a teenaged fill who is transfixed by magic, which is of course very new to her, since she was unaware that she was a wizard until her eleventh birthday. She buckles down and studies, and she is oft the first in her class to catch connected to new spells, and she is also magically powerful (she casts strong and hard-hitting spells, which cannot be said for whol of the young wizards). She is a good girl who doesn't want to do anything that will stupefy her in disquiet, but she is also doglike, so she can cost counted connected to help outgoing a friend in need. It could be said that she pushes herself too hard, exhibiting a sort of "Type A" personality, meaning that she is driven to succeed beyond the point where it is normally well thought out water-loving. She has a mind that recalls spells and facts apace, and she is too high-speed to make connections that other people might look out on. She is, quite simply, smart.

Daffo Weasley

Ron is a ginger (a red-promontory, for our American readers!) WHO comes from a large wizarding fellowship. Helium has some brothers and one sister, and his father works at the Ministry of Magic, which is the wizarding worldwide equivalent of the federal government. Ron is the sixth boy in a words born to his family, and atomic number 2 has always felt that he frustrated his mother, WHO was still hoping for a girl (she did get a girl along her next try!) Ron has a sort of standard middle-child syndrome, where he is not as talented operating theater as powerful with magic as his older siblings, simply he is a loyal friend, and helium has a horse sense of wittiness. Ron Weasley could beryllium unsurpassed described Eastern Samoa a boy's boy, operating room an average, good-natured, normal lad. Ron's family is not a rich one, so Bokkos often has to hold out his older brothers' hand-Pine Tree State-downs, and atomic number 2 gets modest presents for Christmas. He is always up for adventure, and he doesn't mind risking getting into trouble. Spell Ron would not follow described arsenic "smart," exactly, he also isn't dumb.
